Shipping/Receiving Clerk - 4 Needed
Job Description
We have a need for Shipping/Receiving Clerks to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Load and secure product for shipment, band on pallet, weigh, build pallets, and pack boxes
- Receive, unload, and check in various different types of metal received
- Climb up and down from a flatbed truck or a tractor trailer
- Operate over head crane and tow motor
- Accurately read a tape measure and a ruler and use a computer
- Perform other shipping, receiving, and other warehouse duties as needed
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
- Must be able to operate an overhead crane and tow motor
- Must be nimble to hop on and off the flat bed and slow walk the steel to the other end of the shop floor or use the overhead crane
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and ruler and pass their tests
- Must be computer literate
- Must have steel toed boots and safety glasses
- Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable
