Progressive Stamping Die Machinist - 3 Needed
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking individuals who have experience with the set-up and operation of Progressive Die Stamping Machines. Work hours are from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with overtime on Saturday when needed.
Duties:
- Set-up and run Progressive Stamping Dies in Presses ranging from 60-400 tons
- Inspect parts and log information on data sheets
- Use coil handling equipment such as servo feeds, automatic straighteners, reels, and conveyors/shakers for scrap removal
- Set-up tooling, set die protection sensors, and submit parts for approval
- Run parts and perform in process inspection during production using standard measuring instruments
- Be able to lift or move up to 35 pounds and pack small containers
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not necessary
- Must have 2 to 3 years prior experience in a Metal Stamping environment
- Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail while being safety conscious
- Must be comfortable sitting, standing, and moving throughout the shift
- Must be dependable with a solid work history
