Machine Repair Mechanic

A Lake County Manufacturing Company is seeking a Machine Repair Mechanic.  You will work Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform the duties of a Machine Repair Mechanic in a safe and timely manner
• Repair production equipment as needed
• Implement and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedule
• Accurately report all maintenance work performed, material, and parts used on a daily basis 
• Keep work area clean and tidy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum 3 years Industrial Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
• A working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment is needed
• Must have a fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs 
• Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot 24 VDC, 110, and 480/600 3 Phase VAC Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Pneumatic Systems
• Must have the ability fabricate steel using a torch, welder, and associated tooling
• Must be able to read Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Structural prints and schematics 
• Must have basic computer skills
• The ability to safely operate power tools is needed
• Must be comfortable standing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level
